About INTPs

Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Perceiving
Take the MBTI Personality Test HERE

I have noticed that INTPs dominate internet forums. There could be a few reasons for this:

  1. INTPs spend an unhealthy amount of time on the computer
  2. INTPs soul search a lot
  3. INTPs are in need of confirmation and self actualization

Regardless of the reason, here is my attempt to logically define an INTP

  1. We consistently have among the highest IQs of all Myers-Briggs Types
  2. We have a tendency towards laziness
  3. For reasons 1 and 2, we have a higher-than-average ability to bullshit.
  4. Because the product of our BS is usually better than that of other types, we get away with it.
  5. Because we always get away with BSing, we rarely work to our potential.
  6. This amplifies number 2. Chicken or the Egg?
  7. We value our thoughts more than the general consensus
  8. This causes us to possibly be impractical and insubordinate
  9. We have an amazing ability to cut through the heart of an issue and understand what must be done
  10. Problem is, we often don't carry through what must be done
  11. We are natural historians, philosophers, and critics. We are silent observers who often sit back and watch rather than take part
  12. We care about humanity, but not humans.
  13. We hate ISTJs because of their tendency to be cliche, boring, judgemental, brainless followers. We fail to admire them for their dedication, timeliness, and discipline - qualities we lack.

Conclusions

  1. We can be one of two things: a chameleon (assimilate) or a social pariah
  2. We rely on soul-feeding (religious, charity, or service-related) activities to develop our EQ, which we lack.
  3. This is why INTPs aren't as likely as other rational groups (NTs) to be atheists.
  4. We need to gain discipline. This can be done by playing a sport or by pure will-power.

  1. Loved the stuff, especially with the "An INTJ is always right...", I have an INTJ friend and I push his leg when he goes up :)

    1. Yes lol I'm usually a passive person, but I've noticed that around INTJs I can get very competitive/mischevious.
