I have noticed that INTPs dominate internet forums. There could be a few reasons for this:
- INTPs spend an unhealthy amount of time on the computer
 - INTPs soul search a lot
 - INTPs are in need of confirmation and self actualization

Regardless of the reason, here is my attempt to logically define an INTP
- We consistently have among the highest IQs of all Myers-Briggs Types
 - We have a tendency towards laziness
 - For reasons 1 and 2, we have a higher-than-average ability to bullshit.
 - Because the product of our BS is usually better than that of other types, we get away with it.
 - Because we always get away with BSing, we rarely work to our potential.
 - This amplifies number 2. Chicken or the Egg?
 - We value our thoughts more than the general consensus
 - This causes us to possibly be impractical and insubordinate
 - We have an amazing ability to cut through the heart of an issue and understand what must be done
 - Problem is, we often don't carry through what must be done
 - We are natural historians, philosophers, and critics. We are silent observers who often sit back and watch rather than take part
 - We care about humanity, but not humans.
 - We hate ISTJs because of their tendency to be cliche, boring, judgemental, brainless followers. We fail to admire them for their dedication, timeliness, and discipline - qualities we lack.

Conclusions
- We can be one of two things: a chameleon (assimilate) or a social pariah
 - We rely on soul-feeding (religious, charity, or service-related) activities to develop our EQ, which we lack.
 - This is why INTPs aren't as likely as other rational groups (NTs) to be atheists.
 - We need to gain discipline. This can be done by playing a sport or by pure will-power.

Loved the stuff, especially with the "An INTJ is always right...", I have an INTJ friend and I push his leg when he goes up :)
ReplyDeleteYes lol I'm usually a passive person, but I've noticed that around INTJs I can get very competitive/mischevious.
Deleteme in a nutshell, +/- a few things...but the lazy and bs'ing aspects, totally true.
